Isabella is a provisional psychologist who has completed her Master’s in Professional Psychology and is currently undertaking her internship to achieve general registration with Receptive Psychology.
Isabella has experience working in forensic custodial settings, supporting clients with complex and intersecting needs including trauma, substance use, mental illness, emotional regulation difficulties, and social disadvantage. Alongside her forensic work, she also brings valuable experience from disability and mental health support roles, where she has supported NDIS participants to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
Isabella brings a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens to her work. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. Her practice draws on a holistic range of evidence-based frameworks and modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches, tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.
