Fees and rebates

Luke accepts referrals for children aged 5 – 15 at his standard rate of $250 per hour. Sessions can be funded by the child’s NDIS plan (self or plan-managed only), using the Medicare rebate or wholly private paying. We also accept Youth Justice referrals.

If you are using the Medicare rebate, the GP referral should be in the child’s name. As a part of the Medicare scheme, 2 of your child’s 10 rebated sessions can be parenting sessions where the child does not attend. Luke will discuss this with you at the time of booking.

If you have a child and you are seeking parenting support, and your GP determines that you are eligible for a MHCP, then it should be in your own name (not your child’s).

Amy and Luke offer therapy to individuals aged 16+ face-to-face in our Camberwell office and via telehealth. Thanks to Zoom, you do not need to be living in Melbourne to access our services!

Amy’s fees: $280 per hour, with a Medicare rebate of $145.25. Out of pocket cost per session = $134.75.

Luke’s fees: $250 per hour, with a Medicare rebate of $98.95. Out of pocket cost per session = $151.05.

A Mental Health Care Plan from the GP guarantees you up to 10 sessions with the Medicare rebate per calendar year. Sessions can be funded by your NDIS plan (self or plan-managed only), using the Medicare rebate or wholly private paying. We also accept Department of Justice referrals. You may be entitled to a rebate from your private health insurance – please check with your private health fund and let us know.

The cost of individual supervision to a provisional or registered psychologist is dependent on your circumstances (such as your registration status and if you are seeking endorsement). It varies between $200 - $250 an hour + GST.

Supervision for EMDRAA Accreditation with Amy costs $250 an hour + GST.

We offer a monthly, 2 hour group supervision for provisional psychologists, online on a Wednesday evening. This costs $160 + GST for the two hours, per person. Come along to meet other lovely provs and have your questions answered!

If you have legal representation, they should contact us directly so they can provide information specific to your circumstances. After the details of your case have been considered a quote will be provided to you. The total fee for court reports and assessments varies depending on the complexities of the case, however a guide is between $4000 - $5000 +GST.

For assessments to diagnose ADHD, the overall cost is approximately $1500 (+GST). Please note if a psychologist has diagnosed you with ADHD, this alone will not make you eligible to receive the appropriate medication. A psychiatrist and/or paediatrician will need to conduct their own assessment, often at a significant cost to you. For this reason, while we are able to do ADHD assessments, if you are hoping for medication to alleviate your symptoms, we encourage you to attend a psychiatrist/paediatrician assessment instead, so as not to end up paying double.
